Ready to know all the secrets of your Type?
Before going into the details of everything your Type can do for you, let's go back to the basics: What is Type in Human Design?
Whether you're a complete novice or a little more advanced, you've probably seen this word in articles or on your Bodygraph.
Type is the first element to take into account when you are interested in this complex system. It is the first level of understanding of your design.
Although it is level 1, it is not at all a step to be taken lightly. It's really the foundation of your design, and what allows you to understand everything else. So, I really urge you to take the time to explore your Type before moving on to the more complex elements.
All Types have a particular role in society, a zone of genius you might say, where they feel truly fulfilled. Each role is complementary, and we need the talents and treasures of each person to create a harmonious world.
Here are the five Types in a nutshell:
Beware: this is not about fitting into boxes! Each individual is unique, and therefore, even if you have the same Type as your neighbour, you will not be the same person. Your Human Design is just one part of your holistic personality.
Most often, when you look at your Type, you will find information about the characteristics associated with it. You may have heard of Strategy, but did you know that you can also eat better with your Human Design?
The basic characteristics of your Type give you valuable information about your natural and optimal functioning. You can find warning signals to realign yourself to what is right for you, or confirmations of what feels good.
Let's take a closer look:
What I find really magical is that you can use this information very concretely, to create a life for yourself that is in tune with your unique needs. Behind these somewhat barbaric words, there is real wisdom about all the elements of daily life, what I call the hidden treasures of your Type.
Each Type has a unique way of being and interacting with the world. It's as much about the characteristics I told you about before, as it is about very concrete things about your well-being (self-care).

In fact, what the Human says -and more and more health practitioners as well- is that there are no universal rules, only rules that are unique to you, that are to be experienced. By listening to your body and your intuition, you can find what really works for you. Your design is a nudge in that direction!
